 Quite the zippy little machine |

This bike was purchased for my wife, whom is wheelchair bound, to come on family bike rides with us. We have only owned it for a few days but this thing sure beats any other powered wheelchair for the price, although it should not be used in place of a power chair due to size and seat construction. A few key things that we like is the speed and smooth ride. I have driven it a few times - first after I put it all together to make sure everything was set, and then again after I adjusted the brakes to get a quicker response. My wife couldn't be anymore happier with it. If you have limited standing ability, then you may need assistance transferring onto the seat because the bike doesn't weigh enough to support a pull transfer, but my wife thinks with practice she will figure out a way.
It took me less than 40 minutes to unpackage and "build" the bike, then charged the battiers overnight and it was ready to go. One feature I didn't see mentioned anywhere, but wanted to point out is the seat is on rails, so you can adjust it to your reach. A strange feature is the speedometer is rated in kilometers/hour with MPH smaller on the instrument cluster. Because of factory packaging errors, our bike arrived with some scuffs, and grooves in the rear rims from the steel wire ties. Also the brake hub was left unprotected so it rubbed paint off the fork, and there is a scratch just above the headlight bezel. I am going to file a support ticket with the manufacturer to see about some of these issues and will update this review after I hear back. |

| The X-Extreme scooter is everything has in the description. Powerful, good battery life and well built. The only problem I see that takes two people assembly the scooter has shipped. |

THE XB-420M IS FUN TO DRIVE.IT'S LARGER THAN MOST MOBILITY SCOOTERS YOU SEE RUNNING
AROUND.NOT VERY PRACTICAL IN THE HOUSE,WORKS WELL OUTDOORS & I EVEN DO A LITTLE OFF
ROAD RUNNING AS LONG AS ITS MOSTLY FLAT.GREAT IN THE MALL,AMUSEMENT PARK ECT.
I AM A LITTLE CONCERNED ABOUT FINDING PARTS AS NEEDED,BEEN LOOKING ON LINE & THERE
IS NOT MUCH THERE.
I HAVE HAD THE SCOOTER ABOUT A YEAR NO PROBLEMS YET,BUT I KNOW SOMEDAY I'LL HAVE
TO CHANGE OUT THE BATTERIES @$250+,AND TIRES WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED 16X2.50 IS NOT
A VERY COMMON SIZE.
I WEIGH CLOSE TO 300LBS AND THE SCOOTER DOES WELL RUNNING ME AROUND @ 14MPH,I RUN
2 HOURS ON A CHARGE,MANUFACTURE SAYS DON'T RUN THE BATTERIES DOWN COMPLETELY,
IT CHARGES BACK IN 3-4 HOURS FROM 1/2 DISCHARE, SHOULD TAKE 1000+ CHARGES BEFORE REPLACEMENT OF BATTERIES IS NEEDED.

| I bought this scooter as a retirement present to myself after extensive online research, and so far I am very happy with it. It certainly does elicit many favorable comments and it's a lot of fun to ride. The cost is very competitive - it looks like a more expensive scooter. It's a mobility scooter with the "wow" factor! Very solid and substantial to ride, but not that difficult to maneuver when pushing it, such as positioning it in the garage. So far I can't think of anything I'd change about it. |

Great fun to ride. A sporty machine that beats the heck out of my conventional four wheel motility machine, eliciting many wow's! In restaurant's, shopping areas, and recreational areas. Yes, it readily does wheelies too, if one desires to gild this beautiful lily.
i have owned and driven this X-Treme XB-420M Electric Mobility Scooter daily for over three months with no problems or complaints.
Now, after six months of daily driving this wonderful machine, taking my dogs for a run plus many other mobility tasks I can't speak too highly of its quality, speed and utility. I doubt that Medicare or private insurance will play a role in its purchase, but for me the quality, freedom and utility it affords is priceless, and well deserving of a five star rating. |
